LienYard is for Texas TDLR-licensed towing companies and vehicle storage facilities. We check your licence against TDLR’s public roster when you set up your yard.
Card required. Month to month after the trial; cancel anytime from your account page. When we mail a certified letter for you, we charge a single certified-mailing fee at cost — no markup, no profit — to the card on file.
Why mailing is separate
A certified letter with electronic return receipt costs real money: $9.24 at the USPS window if you mail it yourself, or $11.35 when we print and mail it for you — letter, envelope, postage, the certified fees, and the card processing, under the rates effective July 12, 2026. That’s why postage isn’t folded into the $99: we pass it through at cost — no markup, no profit — and put the receipt on the file.
What yards pay today
Your notice-fee recovery is capped at $50 a vehicle (§2303.155). Two certified notices alone run about $9.24 each in USPS fees — so whatever you pay for lookups and software comes straight out of that margin. Here is where it goes now.
